Casa La Vall is not responsible for the execution of agreed transactions and the way in which such websites or providers handle privacy. For all purposes, the relations between Casa La Vall and users of its services are subject to Spanish law and the jurisdiction of the Spanish courts, to which the parties have expressly committed themselves and which have jurisdiction to settle any disputes that may arise.

Use of personal data
When using the Casa La Vall website and services, you leave certain (personal) data. We only store and use the personal data that you provide directly or for which it is clear when you provide us that they are provided to us for processing. We will not use these personal data for other purposes, unless you have given prior permission to do so or we are allowed or required to do so by law. When using the website and sending a (request for) reservation, you provide personal data. We use this data and process the following data:
- first name and surname;
- address data;
- sex;
- e-mail address;
- phone number;
- passport number/identity card number;
- date of birth/place of birth.
Upon arrival, we will make a scan/copy of your ID and that of your fellow guests. In accordance with the legal obligation, we will not keep this copy available to the Guardia Civil for longer than 1 year. The aforementioned data is used for the following purposes:
- handling reservation requests, bookings and payments;
- sending a possible newsletter;
- answering questions asked via, for example, an e-mail;
- drawing up an invoice.
Retention period
The data will be kept for as long as it is necessary to provide our service to you and/or this is legally necessary for official (government) services such as the tax authorities.
Newsletter
We can contact you by e-mail and, if you have given permission for this, send you a newsletter. An unsubscribe option is included with every communication in this way.
Disclosure to third parties
The information you provide will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the agreement and your reservation/booking. Furthermore, we will not provide the information you provide to other parties if you have not given permission for this, unless this is necessary in the context of the execution of the agreement you conclude with us or if this is legally required or permitted.
In this context, we are obliged to provide the Guardia Civil with the following information for each guest: first name, last name, date of birth, ID number, type of ID, date of issue and validity. A copy of this statement, together with the scan of your ID, will, in accordance with the legal obligation, be kept available by us for the Guardia Civil for no longer than 1 year.
